I’m the technical and standards director for NPORS, a training accreditation company in the UK for plant machinery operators.

What challenge were you trying to address with CarbonCode Solutions Ltd?

We were looking to move away from a paper-based operation, so we needed someone to provide us with mobile app development.

What was the scope of their involvement?

CarbonCode Solutions is helping us build an iOS and Android app where all our testing can be done remotely.

We started with a discussion about what we do and where we’d like to go, and they’ve gone through the development process step by step since the initial conversation. We’re currently in the final stages of trialing the app.

What is the team composition?

We mainly work with Jay and Louis (Co-Founders).

How did you come to work with CarbonCode Solutions Ltd?

CarbonCode Solutions is a local company, but we found them online. After our initial conversation, we found that they understood the project more than the other vendors we’ve spoken to previously, so we decided to go with them.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our ongoing partnership started in February 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve been involved at every stage of the development and have reviewed every deliverable to see how we can improve and amend every aspect and so far, it’s been successful.

How did CarbonCode Solutions Ltd perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re very efficient from a project management standpoint, and we typically communicate through email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’re impressed with their technical skills and knowledge — they’re very reliable and effective.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t think they should do anything differently based on my experience.

I advise you to be clear and map out exactly what you need to achieve.
